We made the plant potting mat's design in cooperation with Edgars, the creator and master of the MIZO brand. MIZO works with waxed canvas material, and with his distinctive bag-making techniques, he produces exceptional bags and backpacks. Edgars has also put his handwriting, love for nature and sustainable materials into this product. Each mat is carefully handmade - from measuring, cutting, and sewing to applying press buttons.

SUSTAINABLE MATERIAL

The waxed canvas material is made in Scotland, in a small town where it has been done for over 150 years. The material is produced using recycled raw materials and does not contain any animal products. The material was initially used for sails, but over the years, it has also been used to produce firefighter equipment, outdoor clothing, shoes, and bags. Everything should last almost a lifetime; this is MIZO and our principal value!
